The state of being extremely poor.
North and South pattern
The north south pattern is a map that shows the high income countries low income countries and the middle income countries, Example, Nipal it is a poor country that gets very less income.
Facts of poverty
• 1 billion people in the world are living in poverty. According to UNICEF 22000 people die each day because of poverty.
• Every year 6 million people die because of malnutrition and poverty.
• More than 50 percent of Africans suffer from water related diseases.
Facts of poverty
• Each approximately 300 to 500 million people die because of malaria. Almost 3 million people die.
• More than 800 million people go to bed hungry every day____300 million are children
• 870 million people die because they do not have food to eat.
Facts of poverty
• 80 percent of the world population lives on less than $10 a day.
Almost half the world — over three billion people — live on less than $2.50 a day.
As of 2011, 19 million children worldwide remain unvaccinated.
