Compare and Contrast The Two Stories
The Historical Events
The Drummer Boy Of Shiloh
Patsy Barnes
Joby was afraid of being in the army at such a young age
Patsy had raced on a horse that killed his father
The Finish Of Patsy Barnes
In the story Patsy was living in the nineteenth century. He lives with his mom who is sick. In this era medicine is less advance.
Joby is a boy from the Civil War Era. He was a runaway child. He is a drummer boy. He carried no weapon.
Patsy was a person who never listen to no one. He had followed his own rules. Then when his mother had gotten sick.
The two stories are alike because they both are because they both young kids doing something on there own. Patsy is a kid who tries to take care of his mother. Joby is lonely drummer boy.
