By: Henry Posada Science Fair Project Drop , Fizz , Dissolve Hypothesis: Procedure: Procedure continued: Does temperature affect the reaction
of an alka-seltzer to dissolve? If I put the alka-seltzer in warm water,
then the alka-seltzer will dissolve faster
because it has no opposing forces like
the heat or the cold. 1. Collect Materials: 1 pack of alka-seltzers, 1 stopwatch,
3 glass cups, 1 thermometer 5. Drop the alka-seltzerinto the water and
measure its reaction time. Repeat 8 times Question: 2. Place cup of water in the freezer until temperature reaches 5°c.

3.Place alka-seltzer into water and use the stopwatch
to time the reaction time. Repeat 8 times 6. Leave cup on table until it reaches 25°c.
7. Lay the alka-seltzer in the water and measure
its reaction time Data/Analysis Conclusion I will analyze my results/data to determine if the temperature affected the reaction time of the alka-seltzer dissolving.
Bibliography My hypothesis was that the alka-seltzer would dissolve faster in the warm water.
