Scientist use their senses everyday to discover science. We HEAR, SEE, FEEL, SMELL, and TASTE science around us everyday.
Observes the world around them and asks questions
Scientists study the world around them and ask who, what, when, where, and why.
A scientist is someone who...
What Is a Scientist?
Uses their senses to explore the world around them.
Scientist conduct experiments and use tools to solve problems.
Scientist use experiments to find out why certain things happen and what causes it. Sometime they may use special tools like a microscope, safety goggles, lab coats, magnifying glass, or beaker.
Once scientist have done their experiments. They share what they discovered with others through journals or special meetings called conventions. The conventions are sometimes held world-wide.
Share their ideas and discoveries but also listen to the ideas and discoveries of others.

There are many different kinds of scientists....
