Transcript of What is an American?

by: Michelle and Vanessa I think an American is someone who
served in the U.S. Army. What we learned from this project. I think an American is someone
who pays their taxes What is an American? We learned what year our ancestors came to the United states. We also learned that people have different prespectives of what an American is, and now we also know the difference between the salad bowl theory and the melting pot theory. I think an American is people who have the ability
of freedom and a right to their opinion. I think an American is someone who
eats more than necessary. Suggestions If I was the Teacher I would have the students write more about their ancestors.
