to students. Technology tools are used in conventional ways The teacher incorporates technology tools as an integral part of the lesson A range of different technology tools are integrated flexibly and seamlessly into teaching and learning. students have an extensive knowledge about tech tools
students may extend the use of the tech tools
encouraged to use tech tools in unconventional ways
teacher serves as a guide, mentor, and model
tech tools are used to facilitate higher order learning activities
tech tools become an invisible part of the learning
teacher seeks out other experts outside of the classroom
these learning experiences may not have been possible without the use of the technology
Listening or watching content delivered through technology
Drill and practice
Decisions made by teacher (how and when tech is used)
Students primarily work alone with technology
