History
A Very Long Unrecorded time ago- Polynesians are believed to be the first to settle on the islands of Hawaii

1810- King Kamehameha I unites the islands of Hawaii

1941- Pearl Harbor is bombed

1944- Martial law (a military power imposition) ends

1959- Hawaii becomes a state


Location and Geography
Hawaii is located in the south west of North America at coordinates 20 degrees north to 155 degrees west. The state has an area of 4,028 square miles (10,430 square kilometers).
