Where were you sent in Australia? Daisy was sent to Victoria after stealing a loaf of bread back at Lancaster. She still worked as a maid and the good thing was she got paid more. Life As A Convict By Poppie Thorpe Who did she live with? Daisy lived all by herself since her family was back at Lancaster, but she wasn't lonly she found a stray dog on the road and kept it. She named it Harris. What types of clothes did she wear? All Daisy wore was a dress, a jumper (if it was cold), white socks and some black, flat shoes. What is your job? Daisy's job was a maid she worked 7 days a week and 10 hours a day. She was paid a lot more than she did in Lancaster and that made her happy. What is a normal day for her? What food does she eat? A normal day for Daisy is just working as a maid and having lunch with her new friend, Henry Bucklmen. All she ate was meat and some slices of bread. What did she like about living in Australia? Daisy liked living in Australia because she got paid more than when she worked back at Lancaster. What is challenging about living in Australia? The challenge for Daisy was that she wasn't living with her family and that she had to work 7 days a week.
