(1921-1991)

He was born in Veracruz, Mexico

Jose worked in algebraic topology, and discovered the Ádem relations between Steenrod squares.
He was born in Madrid.

He was known as Spanish civil engineer, mathematician, statesman, and the leading Spanish dramatist of the last quarter of the 19th century.

(1833-1916)
In 1904, José Echegaray
won the Nobel Prize in Literature.
*** Pedro Nunes ***
(1502-1578)

Considered to be one of the greatest mathematicians of his time.

He was the first to propose the idea of a loxodrome and was also the inventor of several measuring devices, including the nonius.
*** Manuel Sadosky ***
(1914 - 2005)
He was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina

Argentine scientist is considered by many people as the computer's father in our country.

He was born in Alcácer do Sal, Portugal
He was born in Mendoza, Argentina
*** Alberto Pedro Calderón ***
(1920-1998)
Alberto is best known for his work on the theory of partial differential equations and singular integral operators.

Alberto is widely considered as one of the 20th century's most important mathematicians.
