A: I saw Miss Short January 9th, which was the last time.
Q: Where was that?
A: I left Miss Short at the Biltmore Hotel at 6:30 P.M., January 9, 1947. Maurice Clement There are many theories as to who killed Elizabeth. She could've been killed by a hired hitman, murdered by someone close to her, or she may have been the victim of a psychopath. Nobody knows who really killed Elizabeth but I believe that it was someone close to her and that someone's name was Maurice Clement aka Ed Burns. Maurice Clement had an alias, Ed Burns. This is a letter that The Black Dahlia Murderer sent to the LAPD In conclusion, no one will ever know who committed these terrible acts unless there is cold, hard proof and Elizabeth Short deserves just that. Maurice Clement was Elizabeth's "favorite boyfriend,' according to Elizabeth's roomate. Maurice Clement Benjamin "Bugsy" Siegel Bugsy was a hitman who was part of the mob. He is accused of many murders. It has been said that he was hired by Norman Chandler, the owner of the Los Angeles Times.
