Transcript of How nanotechnology helped make the Lifesaver bottle

Nanotechnology has been found in everyday life. How much nanotechnology is there: Why people use nanotechnology What are some items that nanotech helped make used for What Nanotechnology Is Nanotechnology is a very complicated concept for most people. A lot of people and things use it in everyday life. Some don't even know it. One man named Michael Pritchard used nanotechnology with what he created. He made a bottle called the Lifesaver bottle. Nanotechnology Nanotechnology has the potential to greatly change our economy, it has changed the economy over the last 20 years. Some products are beginning to come to market, many applications by nanotechnology are still a couple of years away. Some items are:
the Lifesaver bottle
automobiles
medicine
boats
solar panels The Effects Nanotechnology Had on the World Sources: I got my information from these sources: "Michael Pritchard: How to Make Filthy Water Drinkable." TED: Ideas worth Spreading. N.p., Apr. 2009. Web. 12 Nov. 2012.

When attached to another type of nanotechnology, it gives the machine the power to work and do it's job. Also it helps make other more complicated nanotechnology. These are some from nature:
volcanic ash
sea spray
smoke
These are some man made ones:
sunscreen
Sports equipment
Automotive parts Nanotechnology is the understanding and control of matter at dimensions between approximately 1 and 100 nanometers, where unique applications when working with materials or even with single atoms or molecules. Nanometers are extremely small. One nanometer is one-billionth of a meter. "Nanotechnology Research." Nanotechnology Research. Web. 13 Nov. 2012. 11-13-12 Thanks for watching!
