Apple electronics, computer software and computers. It sells, designs and engineers electronics. It is best known for its line of Macintosh computers, ipods, iphones and ipads. Apple is the face of our generation. It's world wide cooperation that sells, designs and engineers apple electronics , computer software and computers.It has people always wanting the latest and greatest because of its constant innovations to all its products. Weather its updating the software or changing the model entirely.
Apple is the brand that people want. Some people even spend nights outside Apple stores just to get the newest products.

It was founded and established in Cupertino California on the 1st of April in 1976 by Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak and Ronald Wayne.
The name Apple was chosen by Steve Jobs. He chose it when he was driving back from an apple farm, he thought that it was "fun and not Intimidating . He was also on a fruition diet that consisted of apples.

It was incorporated the 3rd of January 1977 as Apple computer Inc.

Apple had the name Apple Computer Inc for 30 years. They changed it on the 9TH of January 2007 to Apple Inc because at this point they weren't just selling computers. They specialized in more than just computers and computer software. As of July 2011 Apple has 364 stores in thirteen different countries.It includes the online
Apple store and
the iTunes,which became available in 1997 to order and access thing more quickly.


Apple has 60400 full time employees and 2900 temporary employees world wide. Apple Lisa was Steve Job's creation in 1978 but in 1982 he overtook Jef Raskins's low cost Macintosh project. Apple is famous for its first line of Macintosh computers, Apple Lisa, and of course its newest iPod's, iPhones and iPads.

Apple Lisa and Macintosh had feuds because they both wanted to sell personal computers to the public at the same time.
Lisa won their on going feud in 1983. Lisa became the first personal computer to sell public but there was a failure with their commercial due to the high price range.

On the 22nd of January in 1984 Macintosh made its public debut on a commercial. It which was featured at the third
Superbowl XVII (18).
This is how Apple got famous.

In 1984
Apple launched the Tine Macintosh.
The tine Macintosh changed through the years with the introduction of new software being installed. Some of these software include: laser writing, post script, laser printer, page maker and desktop publishing printer.

Having learned several troubles after introducing a heavy Mac in 1989 .Apple then created a less heavier version. Which Apple introduced in 1991. It was called the Mac portable. The Mac portable was designed to be as powerful as the Macintosh. It weighed 7.5 KG and had a 12 hour battery. The same year Apple introduced System 7 which was a huge change in the colour of the interface. It remained the architecture basis Mac OS (operating System) until 2001. Apple series II was too expensive to produce. During this time Apple experimented with digital cameras, portable CD players, audio players, speakers, video consoles and TV appliances to see how to improve the Mac. Founders- Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, Ronalad Wayne. Apple has achieved great success with iPod's, iPhones, iPads, Mac's, computers, computer software, Apple TV, Mac OS x, iLife and iWork. iPod- The iPod first came on the market in 2001. It
is a big market leader in the portable music players by a significantly heavy margin.It has constantly being innovated. Some of these iPod's include the:
iPod Shuffle which was introduced in 2005 it is currently available in a 2 gigabyte (GB) model,iPod Nano portable was also introduced in 2005 currently available in 8 and 16 GB, iPod Classic (was previously named iPod from 2001-2007) is currently available in 160 GB model and of course the iPod touch which is very renowned. It was introduced on September 2007. It's available in 8, 16, 32 and 64 GB. Mac
In 1994 Apple introduced the power of Mac the first of many Ale computers to use Motorola's power processor. Apple was going to use a different platform in the early 90's instead of Mac.
Mac Mini, sub-desktop computer and server introduced in 2005.

Mac Pro, workstation-class desktop computer introduced in 2006, replacing the Power Macintosh.
MacBook Pro, professional notebook introduced in 2006, replacing the Power Book.
MacBook Air, ultra-thin, ultra-portrait.

Apple also sells a variety of computer accessories for Mac computers including the Airport wireless networking products, Time Capsule, Thunderbolt Display, Magic Mouse, Magic Track pad, Wireless Keyboard, and the Apple Battery Charger The iPhone was released on on the 29Th of June 2007. It's currently available for $4994, dual cameras front and back, HD cameras and 599 GB. April 2008 16 GB became available, iPhone 3g available July the 11th 2008 $199 8 GB and $299 for 16 GB version on October 4th 2011 the iPhone 4s became available in the United States, Canada, Australia,the United Kingdom, France, Germany and Japan. It had new features including the Siri Features. Software includes OS X, iOS operating system, iTunes, iLife and iWork. Apple TV
Apple TV syncs to TV's and devices. Apple originally incorporated 40 GB hard drive for storage. On January the 15TH 2008 a software update was released for Apple TV. Apple TV is also known as ITV. Products Competition The most common lawsuit was with Microsoft. Microsoft continued to gain more shares. Apple relied on high profits to earn money. Microsoft used the same graphics as Apple Lisa. The lawsuit continued for years Apple Inc. vs Microsoft. Eventually Microsoft won. This caused things to go off the rails and the CEO's got replaced. Apple III went public in May 1980 in an attempt to compete with IMB and Microsoft.

Apple is the third largest mobile phone company after Samsung and Nokia. The Apple market is bigger than Goggle and Microsoft combined.

It makes about $65 billion a year and now it's going up to 108 billion. Estimated to make US$636 billion as of September 2012.

Fortune magazine named Apple the most admirable company and cooperation in the US from 2008 -2012 however there's being a lot of widespread criticism. Logos
The Apple Logo picture was created by Ronald Wayne it depicts Sir Isaac Newton (sitting under an apple tree when he discovered gravity). The logo changed to a rainbow apple when the Mac came out.

2nd 1997-2002 "Think Different"
In ad campaigns it's still associated with Apple. ithink was used for Mac, Say Hello was used for the iPhone, Hello was also used to introduced to the original Macintosh Newton, iMac and Hello again was used to introduce the iPod. BY: Yhollanda Bart
Grade 6 Beams Steve Jobs-
Steve Jobs was born on the 24TH of February 1955- he passed away on October 5 2011. He has 4 children Lisa Brennan Jobs, Reed Jobs, Erin Jobs and Eve Jobs. Jobs and Wozniak met when their mutual friend Bill Fernandez introduced them Wozniak was 21 and Jobs was 16 at the time. In 1976 Apple was founded in Jobs apartment.

Steve Wozniak was born on the 11TH of August Steve Wozniak designed the first few Apple computers.

Ronald Wayne was born on the 17 of May 1934 in Cleveland,Ohio he designed many of the logos and slogans of Apple. Interesting Facts .Apple Sold personal computer kits which were handmade by Steve Wozniak.
.By the end of the "70s" the staff made a line of computers.
.Apple one was sold as a motherboard less than a normal computer.
In 1980 Apple went public generating more publicity then IPO since Ford Motor Company. It instantly created 300 millionaires more than any company in history.
Bill Gates wife has banned all Apple products from their home.

No, I have a Zune (like an iPod except made by windows.( .

What if one of your children says, “Mum, I have to have an iPod?”

False.
Nothing crosses the threshold of our doorstep.

In 2010 Apple introduced the highly anticipated running media tablet called the iPad. It came with such applications (apps): Newspapers, magazines, e books, text books, TV shows videos, photos, documents and the usual standard ones you have on any Apple products.

iPad 2- On the 2ND of March a new faster updated version of the iPad was released. It had some new features like,two cameras front and back.Unlike the iPad 1 the iPad 2 was limited because of the natural disasters which occurred in Japan.

iPad 3- The 3rd generation iPad was released on the 7Th of March 2012. This is a much more improved and innovated version.

Since the iPad tablet launched in 2010 3 billion apps were downloaded. While the total app store downloads up to 25 billion downloads a day. The company will build a new office blocks for staff at Holy hill campus to accommodate additional staff that Apple takes in. Cork

They signed a campaign against Apple Inc because of the recyclable hardware components and toxins in their products. Green Peace has campaign against them using specific chemicals in some electronics. On May the 2nd 2007 Steve Jobs released a report announcing plans to improve their greenhouse gas emissions.
Green Peace had a magazine and in the first edition " Green Peace Electronics Guide" released on August the 2006 Apple only scored 2.7\ 10.
But unlike Green Peace the Environmental Protection Agency or (EPA for short) rated Apple the highest notebook desktop computer.

Apple offers how much materials, electrical usage and chemicals used on each product on the Apple online store . The iPhone 3G was the most environmentally friendly one out of all of apple's products.It had less PVC and a different adapter. For production of the
iPhone 5 students were forced to work against their will to get it on the market.

In October 2011 chinese authorities ordered Apple to shutdown a Plant in Suzhou because residents complained about environment issues. Campus- The Apple campus has six building, it was built in 1993 by Soboato Development Construction. In 2006 it was announced that Apple will be building a new campus. The new campus will be designed by Norman Foster. It will be located in Cupertino,California. Questions How many children does Steve Jobs have? Which two companies combined is the Apple market bigger than? Who designed the Apple Logo? Why did Steve Jobs chose the name Apple? How many stores does Apple have ?
