1 in 4 people in the world will be affected by mental disorders at some point in their lives
450 million people currently suffer from such conditions, placing mental disorders among the leading causes of ill-health and disability worldwide.
Serious mental illness costs America $193.2 billion in lost earnings per year
Over 50 percent of students with a mental health condition age 14 and older who are served by special education drop out making it the highest dropout rate of any disability group.
