In Las Angeles you should visit Disneyland, Santa Monica Pier, and La Brea Tar Pits.

Disneyland is a must visit just for the fun of it. Santa Monica Pier is a very fun place to people watch ride rides and eat. La Brea Tar Pits have one of the best Pleistocene vertebrates exhibits.

In San Francisco you should see the Golden Gate Bridge, cable cars and Alcatraz. The Golden Gate Bridge is one of the most famous bridges in the world. The cable cars are the last manually operated cable car system. Alcatraz is a national park that was a prison from 1934 to 1963.
In San Diego you should visit Sea World, San Diego Zoo and Balboa Park.
Sea World is an awesome place to go see sea life such as Shamu. The San Diego Zoo has over 3,700 animals.
Balboa Park has several museums and Theaters.
In 1849 California experienced the gold rush.
1936 Golden Gate bridge was completed.
1945 the United Nations signed their charter in San Francisco
