William Shakespeare was a playwright and English poet who maneged to excel in both tragedy and comedy.
Shakespeare is considerated the greatest dramatist of all time.
William Shakespeare was born on April 23, 1564, in Stratford-upon-Avon a small town in the center of England. From 1594 he was an important member of the Lord Chamberlain’s Men, a company of theatrical players.
Shakespeare attended the king's New school, which was 400 meters away from his home.
Shakespeare married Anne Hathaway. When they married in 1582 he was 18 and she was 26, who gave him three children; John, Susanne and Hamnet.
