This is about the process of the Water Cycle, and how it works.

Transcript of The Water Cycle

The Water Cycle 1. Water is stored all over Earth
Ground Water 2. The sun comes out and heats up the
water, causing it to evaporate. Evaporation- Waters turns from a liquid
to a gas 3. Plants release water in gas form
through transpiration. 4. The water in the air condenses and forms clouds Condensation- Water turns from a gas to a liquid 5. When the clouds become to saturated with water
precipitation occurs and water falls to the ground. 6. Precipitation- Water falling to Earth's surface

Can be in the form of:
Hail 7. After the water hits Earth's surface
runoff or infiltration occur. 8. Runoff- Water flows into lakes, rivers, oceans, and ponds

Infiltration- Water seeps into spaces in the soil, becoming ground water. 9. The process is continuously repeated,
giving us our water supply!
