Transcript of 5 Kingdoms
Plantae eat by using photosynthesis. Plantae is another word for plants. They provide oxygen for humans to breathe.Photosysnthesis is CO2 + H2O + sunlight = food for plants so it will live. They do not feed of other living things unlike Fungi. Plants have tubes that makes food and water travel down to the plant.
Fungi is a bacteria that can be unicellular or multicellular. Fungi can be mushrooms, moulds and yeast ect. Fungi can be realated to plants but still different because it doesn't do photosysthesis. Yeast can live in our body or in other organisms.
Protista is one of the simplest multicellular living thing. Some protista can have chlorophyll or nucleus. They can also make food by photosysthesis. Protista can live in almost any environment.
Some protists can be algae or diatoms. They
Monera is a bacteria that is uni-cellular lifeform which means single cell. Monera is the one of the first living things on Earth. It is a micro organism that means it's a small living cell. Monera can survive extreme environments like heat, salt or even in moist areas. Some can even live without oxygen. Monera is a wide spread.
Animalia is a multicellular living thing. It can be a vertabrate or invertebrate.Animalia is another word for animals. Animals get food and nutrients by eating other organisms.
The five kingdoms are living things around us. They are Animalia, Plantae, Fungi, Protista and Monera. In 1735 Carolus Linnaeus was the founder of animalia and plantae.
