I was born on his birthday Why Mahatma Gandhi October 2nd 1869, Born Fighting for Indian freedom and civil rights
and bringing peace and ordinance to India. What is Mahatma Gandhi famous for He organized a Salt March. This march was held against the taxes on salt by the British. Accomplishments Mahatma Gandhi changed the lives of many people. He fought for the civil rights of many people and their freedom. He believed that discrimination and segregation was wrong. So he decided to try to change the world . Mahatma Gandhi influenced others by showing that you can achieve your goals without violence. The affects Mahatma Gandhi made on society Mahatma Gandhi When Mahatma Gandhi was 19 years old he was sent off to London so he could attend the University of London to study law and become a barrister . He also went to Samaldas College at Bhavnagar, Gujarat. Education Important people in Mahatma Gandhi’s life The Indians fought with the British and won the WW l and they were not rewarded by the British.
