Heroism :A hero is usually recognized in a work of literature as someone with great courage and strength (although that's not always the case). The hero may risk or sacrifice his or her life for the greater good.

To Kill A Mockingbird : Atticus Finch
Title: To Kill A Mockingbird
Author: Harper Lee
Summary Of Story : Scout, Jem, and Dill become fascinated with their mysterious neighbor Boo Radley and have an escalating series of encounters with him. Meanwhile, Atticus is assigned to defend a black man, Tom Robinson against the spurious rape charges Bob Ewell has brought against him. The jury finds Tom Robinson guilty. When word spreads that Tom Robinson has been shot while trying to escape from prison, Jem struggles to come to terms with the injustice of the trial and of Tom Robinson’s fate. After making a variety of threats against Atticus and others connected with the trial, Bob Ewell assaults Scout and Jem as they walk home one night, but Boo Radley saves the children and fatally stabs Ewell. The sheriff, knowing that Boo, like Tom Robinson, would be misunderstood and likely convicted in a trial, protects Boo by saying that Ewell tripped and fell on his own knife. After sitting and talking with Scout briefly, Boo retreats into his house, and Scout never sees him again.

Explanation Of How The Theme Appear:
Atticus Finch is a heroic character in To Kill A Mockingbird. A hero is a person who is known for certain achievements and qualities. Atticus is known for many qualities he displayed during the novel, as well as various achievements. This makes him a heroic character. Atticus Finch is a hero because he defended a black man in court, proved his abilities and intelligences, and cared for everybody equally.
Title:The Tragedy Of Romeo & Juilet
Summary :It all started out that romeo was in love with a woman named Rosaline. But rosaline didn't want him. But then he went to a place and seen juilet . He fell in love her very fast. But then he found out they were apart of different sides. But they didn' t care about it. Her parents wanted her to marry someone else but she loved romeo . Then she took a potion and killed herself and romeo found her and did the same.
Explanation Of How The Theme Appears:
"At the end of the play Romeo meets a tragic endof the story. Killing himself by taking a poison and thus causing the death of Juliet. However it could be argued whether he faces and accepts death with honour. In the end Romeo commits suicide, which is not considered to be honourable because it only causes suffering for those you have left behind. However he does kill himself in faith and honour in his love for Juliet, accepting her death and his own sacrifice of his life. ‘Here’s to my love!’
Explanation Of How Themes Appear:
Odysseus’ courage is shown when he kills the Cyclops, despite the fact that it had killed some of his men earlier and going up against such a fearsome creature would be frightening to a normal man.
Analysis Of How The Pieces Fit In W/ The Theme.
It fits in with the theme cause in every story it shows a piece of where they where a hero even if they didn't or did save someone.
