Tokyo & New York
New York is located in the north-eastern area in the United States of America which is in the continent of North America. and situated above the equator, that makes New York part of the northern hemisphere
Tokyo is situated in East Asia in a country called Japan. The hemisphere Tokyo is located in is the northern hemisphere.
New York is ranked 8th on the cities population list, with a population of 20,464,00.
Tokyo is ranked 1st on the cities population list with the highest population of 37,126,000.
Tokyo ranked 1st and New York ranked 8th are some of the biggest mega cities in the world however, because there are so much people living in the two cities and a heap of tourists roaming around it is a must for the cities to have many transportation options.

Tokyo has such a large population which practically grew from their own people and Tokyo also consists of people moving from the surrounding cities to move to Tokyo because Tokyo has many opportunities and services.
People come to New York mostly from different states in America because in New York there are more facilities and opportunities which can then lead to financial success as New York is the financial capital of America.
New York has changed in the fact that it has grown in population due to people moving to New York because it is the financial capital of America.
The population change in Tokyo has skyrocket in the past years. Tokyo has many industries also Tokyo has great technology. So over time people move to Tokyo because it is a growing city.
