ENGLISH IMMERSION PROGRAM SOCIALIZATION WITH TEACHERS
PREPARING AND SELECTING THE BEST ENGLISH SONGS INTERPRETATIONS
In this first part, I could share my expereince in San Andres and what the program offered to non-native English teachares such as the opportunity to stay at an English- speaking native family home.
Get acquainted with the culture of native islanders by sharing thier daily life.
Take an English language course in groups of no more than 20 people, with English speaking native teachers of the island
The students select and prepare the songs that they want to sing. In this activity all of them showed their abilities to sing and they expressed their belief about how fun is to learn new structures, vocabulary, expressions and idioms. It is important to note that through the songs we can improve verbal fluency too. So, they ended this experience with the full conviction that singing is also another way to learn.

READING AND WRITING PRACTICE
Students practice these skills through different activities such as looking for specific information, playing the Running Dictation Game, organizing paragraphs , selecting correct options according to the reading, making a drawing from the reading, describing pictures and so on.
