INTRODUCTION
The Yakult produced Malaysia is produced from high quality, carefully selected ingredients and is packaged in a technologically advanced local manufacturing facility, incorporating some of the latest food processing equipment.
The factory maintains the highest quality standards throughout the process, equivalent to the Yakult manufacturing plants in Japan.
Through their planning, they are able to produce output without backorder, maintain high quality product and are able to gain more consumers than competitors.

Increase the Production line
Yakult’s production line currently consist only one line and should have an extra line in order for them to achieve higher output.
Do not need to have overtime

Customer’s expectation of quality of the product and services is very high.
Quality is associated with consistency and relates to ‘appropriate use’ means how well a product does what it is intended to do.
Aggregate planning is the big picture approach to planning for the intermediate term which is about 2 to 12 months.
The goal is to achieve a production plan that will utilize the organization’s resources to satisfy expected demand.

A successful organization must have 3 things:
a competitive advantage
a strategy to meet the company's goals
ability to produce goods and services in a cost-effective manner
Productivity is a measure of the effective use of resources, usually expressed as the ratio of output to input
Competition is the rivalry among sellers to achieve goals such as price, product, distribution, and promotion, including identify consumer wants and needs.
Yakult (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. uses level strategy in their aggregate planning which mean they will keep producing same volume of output even the demand is high.
Company does not do backorder to maintain low cost in production line
Yakult (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. have their own ways to make sure the customer expectations on product quality is achieved.
