An American writer and Nobel Prize laureate from Oxford.
His works include novels short stories, plays, poetry, essay, and screen plays.
One of the most important writers in southern literature.

Win 1972 American National Book Award for fiction.
Is named the best of the National Book award in 2009.
The story is about a family of five members being killed by the Misfit, an escaped convict when the grandmother tries to persuade her son to drive to Tennessee for vacation, instead of Florida
Brief summary
