He invented softball

Invented the game inside of the Farragut Boat Club Softball didn't have use as much equipment then as is does now

Catchers didn't use padding and batters didn't use helmets

The first game of softball used a boxing glove as a ball and a broomstick as a bat A softball game has nine fielders at a time There is an infield and an outfield There are seven innings in a game
