Gun Control In The U.S.A According to CNN...
In 2001 54% of poeple wanted
stricter gun control then 50% in 2007.
Second Amendment...

The Second Amendent was adopted in December of 1791 and says "A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the RIGHT OF THE PEOPLE TO KEEP AND BARE ARMS, shall not be infringed." http://www.cnn.com/2009/POLITICS/04/08/gun.control.poll/index.html http://topics.law.cornell.edu/constitution/billofrights Gun Sales Muders FBI saw a 10% drop in murders in the first six months
of 2009, and at that time gun sales to private citizens
were up by 30%. By a 5 to 4 vote...
The Supreme Court concluded the Second
Amendment right protects the rights of
individuals instead of just the right to maintain a militita. In Vermont... We have very fews gun laws
1. Gun dealers must keep record of sold guns
2. No guns on school or courthouse properties.
State laws says local goverments can not regulate:
ownership, possession, carrying, transfer, registration or licensing of firearms. "Vermont Carry" The term is used by gun rights
advocates and refers to the allowence of
citizens to carry a concecled or open firearm
without a permit. Vermont law does not distinguish
between resident and vistior, therefore anyone traveling
throughout Vermont does not need a gun permit. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gun_laws_in_the_United_States_(by_state)#Vermont
