The single biggest mistake that people make when trying to teach with technology is:

keeping the form of the old (even though it has no function) to the expense of the new
e.g. using e-books and thinking that it is teaching with technology when all you did was copy-paste the text on-screen
If you simply e.g. upload a video for students to watch without any participation or conversation, it falls into the lowest category of Consumption .....
We need to find a way to use video's that encourage student's to get involved, engage and interact with the content by means of conversation, correction and creation
