AKA- Missouri Learning Standards
-MLS- Missouri Learning Standards include the Common Core State Standards (CCSS), a set of academic expectations for language arts and mathematics.
-What does that have to do with science?
"Just as students must learn to read, write, speak, listen, and use language effectively in a variety of content areas, so too must the the Standards specify the literacy skills and understanding required in multiple disciplines." - CCSS Intro
