Transcript of RELIGION?

Imagine opening your eyes at the gates of heaven. You think "yes I made it!" and then suddenly you see a line. the line of people are so long that you cant see the beginning, or the end, so what do you do? You cut in line of course. Then suddenly everyone disappears and you see God sitting at the judgement seat. you suddenly fall down on you knees. you look up and He says "why should I let you into my perfect Heaven" How will you reply, will you say. "Lord I have gone to church" or maybe "Lord I am better person then my neighbor" or "Lord I was religious" Will these answers be acceptable?
Lets do a little research.
Lets look at the different world religions
Hindus Believe that there are Millions of Gods
making them polytheistic
But Buddhist Beleive there are no gods
judaism believes in God.
And according to the Quran, Sura (Chapter) 29:46 muslems Believe in Allah which they say is the same as the Jews god.
But if they are worshiping the same god why are there doctrines so different?
Both of them also believe that Jesus was a good person. but how can that be? because Jesus said He was the son of God so either He was a blasphemer/bad person or He was who He said He was. He cant be both.
There have been many denominations that have been classified under the Christian religion (Christian meaning "like Christ" they were 1st called Christians when the aposles went to Antioch) such as Catholic, Lutheran, Baptist, Methodist, Presbyterian, Church of Christ, Mormans, and many others.
So will all these denominations let us into Heaven, even though they don't agree with each other?
Lets investigate a little further
We're actually going to just focus on
the christian
religions for right now because,
most of the
other religions are counteracting
each other.
But how do we know which christian denomination will get us into Heaven?
We will use the book that contains the the Torah the Septuagint, the Apocrypha and even the New Testament. this book is called the Bible
You might be wondering what
and where
these books are in the Bible
Well i will gladly tell you. The Torah is the 1st 5 books of the Bible, both Christians, and Jews use it.
The Septuagint is the Old Testament, both Christians and Jews also have this in there holy book
The Apocrypha is the books between the Old Testament and the New Testament. the Jews have this, but some Christian Bibles do not have this because they did not believe that it was inspired by God.
The New Testament is after the Apocrypha, and contains the Gospel of Christ, Acts, Epistles, and Revelations.
Christians have the New Testament.
and all these books are found in the Bible, except for the Apocrypha which is only found at least in the Catholic Bible.
In order to not offend other religions
I will try not
to mention certain religions or
denominations
names but will give

scripture with
references on
what the Bible says.
Some Christian religions believe that you have to be a good person in order to get into Heaven
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Ephesians 2:8-9
10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
Romans 3:10 and 21-23
21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;

22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Infer what you want from those verses but I inferred that they were trying to tell us that no matter how good we are compared to our neighbors; we will never be good enough to get into Heaven by our selves.
It is the gift of God through Jesus.
Other denominations say that if you just have faith you
can go to Heaven
I believe that if I work hard enough I can do anything,
but it doesn't mean
its going to happen unless I actually do it.
17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone
18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.
James 2:17-18
Again infer what you want, but what I infered is that we cant just say we believe and go back to our sinful ways, we have to do what we believe.
What I inferred from verse 39 when it says "if it be possible, let this cup pass from me" I believe Jesus said that for us; so that we might know that there wasn't another way. the only way for us to get into heaven was through Jesus dying on the cross, and even if you don't believe that Jesus was really the Son of God, He still died believing he was doing it for you. Selah that
36 Then cometh Jesus with them unto a place
called Gethsemane, and
saith unto the disciples, Sit ye here, while I go
and pray yonder.

37 And he took with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and began to be sorrowful and very heavy.

38 Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me.

39 And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.
Matthew 26
6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
John
14
7 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith
he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;

8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it:
for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.
Revelation 3
the yellow words are talking about Jesus
okay but how is Jesus the way?
like what do we have to do in order to be saved?
Revelation 3
20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1 John 1
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Romans 10
John 1
12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
He wants you to except Him as your Lord and Savior. He created us, but He loves us so much that He gave us free will, but we sinned. So God sent His only son, if you believe and confess; you can be saved.
Will you accept Him?
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
John 3
so what will you say when God asks you, why He should let you into His perfect Heaven.
I conclude that religion is inaccurate because it says there is more than one way but I believe that there is one way to heaven, not multiple, and that Jesus is the way.
So how can these both be right

?
John 10
28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.

30 I and my Father are one.
John 10
28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.

30 I and my Father are one.
