The first stage of arthritis is the swelling of the synovial lining, causing pain, warmth, stiffness, redness and swelling around the joint. Second is the rapid division and growth of cells, which causes the synovium to thicken In the third stage, the inflamed cells release enzymes that may digest bone and cartilage, often causing the involved joint to lose its shape and alignment, causing more pain, and loss of movement. believe it or not, there is no permanent fix for rheumatoid arthritis. the best thing that anyone could do is take as many steps to avoid it. 1. stay not fat 2. Lift with your hips 3. excersize the body regularly and get lots of sleep 4. sit and sleep on firm cushions 5. soak in a hot tub regularly. this is my grandma, and she suffers from arthritis
