Zimbabwe is ruled by Robert Mugabe who is the Dictator. Zimbabwe is a beautiful place but politics have turned it into catastrophe! Its population in 2011 was 12,754,378. Its continent is Africa, its capital city is Harare, and it used to be called Salisbury! The country Zimbabwe used to be called Rhodesia as well! It was named after the Rhodes family who were one of the first families to settle there. The country use to be a colony of Britain but became independent in 1965. Our Country under Dictatorship. Positive Impacts
Dictators can know what's is best though.

It is easy to pass laws because they don't have to go through process of so many more people.

If the dictator is a good leader he/she can be the leader for quite a while.

Dictators can be nice if you listen to them and treat them with loads of respect.
Dictatorship is a cruel form of government.
People think its unfair because only one
person can be the person that makes all the decisions.

Dictators normally are corrupt. (That means they take money for themselves.)
They may even hurt people to stay in power.
People are dying because of one person and thats a disgrace . Negative Impacts I don't like dictatorship.
Only one person likes a dictatorship and thats the dictator. Right now there's a civil war going on in Syria where many innocent people are being killed because of the dictator. Think of it this way, those of you who like dictatorship, well how would you like to be bossed around all day? Individual personal reflections/opinion 1. What’s Dictatorship?
