Changes are Happening in the Library!
During the 2014-2015 school year, the NBHS library will be using a new social network for communication between teachers, students, and parents.
Celly is free and accessible via cellphone, smartphone, and desktop.
Celly will allow students to create discussions, help each other with homework, share links and videos, create reminders about upcoming assignments, and much, much more. You can share content from Spotify, Vine, and YouTube, as well as animated GIFs and photos.
NBHS librarians will use Celly to distribute helpful links to specific classes. We will also use Celly to send reminders to students about upcoming library events and any library due dates specific students may have.

New Bern High School Library
New Bern High School is working hard to remove the stigma associated with cell phones in the classroom. As of August 8, 2014, NBHS has adopted the Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) Technology Model.
We ask that students only use their personal devices during breaks between classes, at meals, and after school unless otherwise specified by their instructor.
BYOD allows students to bring their personal devices (latptops, tablets, smartphones, etc) to school. We will provide each student with a unique login for the school's Wi-Fi.
