Deadline for Graduate Entry to Medicine

We work closely with employers to create exclusive opportunities for University of Leeds students (e.g. Part time projects in a local arts organisation and summer internships in a local office of a global manufacturing organisation). Look out for adverts for these opportunities now.

Leeds Internship Programme applications

The Leeds Internship Programme is advertised now, for projects to start in July. These are 8-12 week paid summer project based opportunities for undergraduates in local businesses and university departments. Teacher Training Applications
Applications for Graduate Diploma in Law
1 October - 1 November
The conversion course for non-law students should be applied for from October in your final year. Although there are no deadlines for GDL courses, applications are dealt with as they are submitted and offers may be made as early as November. So if you have a particular course or location preference - apply early! Applications are made through the Central Applications Board. http://www.lawcabs.ac.uk/
Consider a work placement year
1 September - 31 October
Are you in your second year? Now is a great time to consider doing a 12 month placement in your third year. (If your home department doesn't offer you the opportunity the Careers Centre can help via the CSER 8000 module).

EPSRC Graduate Internship applications
1 August - 30 September
The EPSRC (Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council) Graduate Internships are advertised now, for projects to start in October. These are 6 month paid opportunities in research teams at the University of Leeds. These internships allow graduates with limited research experience to work on innovative and interesting real life research projects.
