• Bill is given HR number • Announces bill on the floor.
• Bill is given S number • Hearings and revisions.
(meetings and changes to bill) • Hearings and revisions.
(meetings and changes to bill) Committees Committees Floor Action Floor Action • Debate
• Vote • Debate
• Vote Conference Action • Compromise between both houses.
• Vote President • Sign Bill
• Veto Bill Signs Bill • Becomes Law
• (keeping it for 10 days counts as signing it) Veto Bill • Goes back to Congress
• 2/3 Congress vote makes it a law.
• otherwise it's dead :(
