Go Put Your Strengths to Work To offer strengths focused tools in helping to develop a community of faculty and staff who are engaged in creative activities for furthering their work which brings value to the university, department, residents, students, coworkers and community.
1. Understand the philosophy of the strengths revolution
2. Define what a strength is
3. Identify three myths hindering your development and the three counteracting truths
4. Recognize ways to pinpoint what your strengths are utilizing the four signs of a strength
5. Discover ways to build on your strengths and manage around your weaknesses
by Markus Buckingham At the end of the session you will be able to: The Purpose of the Session Based on a Gallup 40 year, 10 million participant employee engagement study. From this they created a language of 34 of the most common talents and developed the StrengthsFinder 2.0 online assessment to tool to help people discover and describe their top five talents (Talent x Investment = Strength).
This assessment has been used by over two million people.
