Writing should be approached as a process. After selecting the topic, the students need to consider five basic activities. These basic subtasks are:
Preplanning and organizing
Writing the draft
Proofing (looking for errors) and rewriting
Editing (elaborate and enhancing the content) and rewriting
Writing the final
Choosing the target area: This will depend on many factors:
A) What level are the students
B) Why are the students learning English
C) What is the average age of the students
D) Intentions for the writing P - Plan the paper
O - Organize the ideas and elaborations
W - Write the draft
E - Edit the draft: look for errors
R - Revise the paper & enhance
