More Facts about Language in Europe:
French, Italian and Spanish are types of Romance Languages.
Languages of Europe
There are 3 categories of language in Europe:
1.) Germanic
2.) Romance
3.) Slavic
This language has the most native speakers
Most Europeans speak 2 languages....english and german.
There are so many languages that Europeans require school children to learn one or 2 languages besides their own.
There are 2 different alphabets in Europe. Yikes! Cyrillic Alphabet....

20% of most Europeans speak either English or German.
Russian is written with the Cyrillic alphabet
In Europe schoolchildren are required to learn one or
languages beside their native language
Europe greatly respects the languages of other cultures
European Union has 28 official languagages-Russian is NOT one of them
