Preterite vs. Imperfect Los Verbos del Pasado What is Preterite? IMPERFECT PRETERITE Conjugations for Preterite Now It's Your Turn Make a sentence from the picture below using a verb in the preterite tense What is Imperfect? describes actions which are seen
by the speaker as incomplete or continuing. There are no stem changes in imperfect tense. Conjugations for Imperfect e.g.
cantar- cantaba, cantabas, cantabamos, cantaban
