Biography of
Samuel de Champlain
Samuel de Champlain was born on August 13, 1574 at Brouage, France and died December 25, 1635 at Quebec city. He had three children, three books of his own, and his nationality was French,Canadian.
Samuel de Champlain was the father of France. He was a french explorer (someone who travels into little known regions especially for some scientific purpose), a navigator(a person who controls a ship or aircraft), cartographer(a person who makes maps.), soldier, draughtsman(a skilled worker who draws plans of buildings or machines) and much more. He was the person who found new France, at Quebec city on July 3 1608. From then with the people he was with he started building the city. He got a little help from the europeans, they got some food, while the population got bigger every one kind of started there business they traded fur, rice, clothing, food,and much more with the europeans. This trading with the europeans really helped them because most of them that traded got money, food, vegetables, or any thing else.from then Samuel de Champlain started helping the people make fur trade fur and every thing else. he had all the responsibility off every thing at his time, every one got every thing they wanted. so every one cheered him and from every one he got all the credit. He was really happy of him self because he was the one started this and got it on the right track, so that's why he was really proud of him self.
