Transcript of Hydra

Hydra
The sea serpent Hydra is located low in spring skies for observers in the Northern Hemisphere. Its body moves away from the head toward the southeast.
Hydra is a sea serpent used in greek mythology. Hydra was killed by hercules in his second quest. Another myth associates it with a water snake that a crow served Apollo in a cup when it was sent to fetch water. Apollo saw through the fraud, and angrily cast the crow, cup, and snake, into the sky. Star Alphard
