Directions
Research and write a three-paragraph report on how Cuban-American relations have changed since the time of the Cold War. In your report, be sure to include:
One paragraph explaining the relationship between the U.S. and Cuba in the 1960s
The relationship was at best frosty. The American government pretty much hated the Cuban Revolution and used an invasion at the Bay of Pigs in 1961 to attempt to overthrow Castro's government. Things actually got worse in 1962 following the Cuban Missile Crisis, and this led to attempts to assassinate Castro, believing that his death would see Cuba lapse from its client statehood with the Soviet Union.
One paragraph describing the current relationship between the U.S. and Cuba
Our current and 44th President of the United States, Barack Hussein Obama II, or just Barack Obama, actually publicized that he actually wants to both boost settlement and several traveling limitations. He also choose that the United States ought to close its trade barriers and continue the travel that would occur between both the United States and Cuba. However, the general connection that is being technologically advanced that was between America and Cuba is becoming quite saccharine as the United States challenges to inaugurate a respectable gesticulation, which can be like a movement.
One paragraph explaining two positive and two negative effects of the current relationship on U.S society or the U.S government
With regards to our current relationship on the United States’ society or the United States’ government. In terms of the positive sides, the contemporary connection is basically pleasant and our social order, which is like saying a society, can be at armistice with creating respectable signals towards Cuba. A negative effect could actually be that there was some part of our social order that may still be able to have some depending issues with Cuba and differed with the present connection. However, with general regards to the reputation of the newsflash, our social order might be fair with their present connection and in that case, it also approving with the relationship will probably enforce a much informal forthcoming towards the United States and Cuba. Also, another negative can be that our own social order would still be very probable to take an improvement of this contemporary connection to be actually legitimately and/or straightforwardly, without any problems, to go to Cuba.
