3D Printing
History of 3D printing
Model design is created and input into CAD computer software.

The design is sent to the 3D printer.

Processes:

Fused Deposition Modeling-lays down materials in layers
thermoplastics, rubber, clay

Direct metal laser sintering- fuses metal powder into a solid part
almost any metal alloy, thermoplastic powder
