Symbolizes those who don't follow their Personal Legend although they may still create something beautiful

Alchemy turns lead, the worst metal into gold, the best metal.
Symbolizes how people must purify themselves, remove all other distractions in life and focus in order to achieve their dreams

Introverted and angry, he told his parents he wanted to become a writer

They sent him to a mental hospital 3 times

He wrote lyrics for years

Made good money but wanted to write books

Walked Santiago de Compostela he was inspired to write "The Pilgramage"

Wrote "The Alchemist" in two weeks in 1987
