WHAT IS TROBLESHOOTIG
Trouble shooting is the identifecation of a trouble in a system by a failure of some kind. The term debug is used when the problem is within the software program .The process of finding and reducing the number of bugs or defects in a computer program is known as debugging

SOFTWARE TROUBLESHOOTING
Software troubleshooting is the process of scanning, identifying, diagnosing and resolving problems, errors and bugs in software.

It is a systematic process that aims to filter out and resolve problems, and restore the software to normal operation. It is a subcategory of IT troubleshooting.
HARDWARE TROUBLE SHOOTING
It is like a power failure inn the computer or device problem like keyboard,mouse,printer etc
HOW TO TROUBLE HARD WARE
Ways of trouble shooting hardware

1.Click Start, and then click Run.
2.Copy and then paste (or type) the following command in the Open box, and then press ENTER: msconfig.
3.Click the Startup tab. ...
4.If you identify a conflicting program, we recommend that you remove the program if you are not using oftware driver problems
TROBLESHOOTING
HOW TO TROUBLE SHOOT SOFT WARE
1.Verify the diskettes or CD are readable by reading the files on the drive
2.If the CD reads fine with no errors, verify your computer meets the minimum requirements of the software program
3.Make sure the program or utility you are installing is compatible with the version of operating system you have on your computer
4.If you are getting stopped at the CD-KEY or Serial Number verification, verify you are entering your correct number
