This is the first day of the unit. I will
be introducing myself and introducing
what we are learning in the unit but mainly focus on cardiovascular and muscular endurance. Also we focus on the survey I made for the students online. My survey using Google is my incorporation of using technology for this class. Below is my survey link,

I get them to sign up for an account and give them a quick tutorial of how it works. I assign homework for them using Voice Thread. They need to use the link I give to them and comment on my voice thread of the food groups. And then they need to create their own voice thread answering questions given to them. Assuming the students may be stiff from the fitness test the day before we do lighter exercise and range of motion enhancers. There is three stations of spin bikes, foam rollers and flexibility stretches.

http://voicethread.com/share/3726157/ Today I will present my SMART Board presentation of basic offensive strategies and routes using SMART Recorder to the students. The volunteer students will control the computer as I demonstrate and explain each page of my presentation. I ask the students to have a paper and pen to be able to write down the plays they like or would like to incorporate into their own game plan. The reasoning for this is because on day 8 and 9 the students will organize into their teams and create their own game plan using the SMART Board software for the scrimmage being played afterwards. We then will go out and practice the routes we learned in class and incorporate them into our scrimmages. At the end of class I remind them just like every other day to be putting in the work and exercise necessary outside of school to set themselves up for success and to reach the goals they have set for themselves on day 10's fitness test #2.

Music will be playing and the exercises will be the same as on day 3. So hopefully the students will put the necessary work in and more to be able to reach their goals they set for themselves. In this project we will
learn about reaching our goals. It will incorporate technology use while approaching and hopefully succeeding our goals. Reaching our goals can be tough,
as motivation can be an issue. But improving and
working on our self- respect, responsibility,
motivation and knowledge of healthy lifestyle is important
in our society. Day 7 Day 4 Day 1 Day 10 ECMP 355 Final Project This is where our final step lies, as it is our goal to reach here. A wise man once said, "if it were easy to do, it probably wasn't worth doing". In this project students will put in their best effort to reach their goal and continue to strive for new ones throughout these lessons. But we cant jump right to here as that would be to easy, lets examine the steps it takes to reach the top! DAY 2

Today we learn more about the exercises we are going to be tested on for day 3 in our first fitness test and the Personal Action Plans we will create. We will use heart rate monitors and learn about peak heart rates. We will be observing these heart rates as we perform the instructions demonstrated from the Kenpo X DVD in the P90 X production. I will have the projector screen rolled down in the gym so we can follow along just like you would if you were at the comfort of your own home.

Today is our first fitness test. The students will be performing exercises such as push-ups, sit-ups, 3-cone drill, 20 yard dash, bench press and flexibility test. The students will write down their results take that sheet home and fill in the action plan online and submit it to my email. Stop watches will be used for timing exercises and music will be playing in the gym. The music will be pre-selected by the students . Obviously appropriate upbeat high tempo music. This plan is to develop motivation and high tempo progressive movement by the students using the music. Day 5
Today is core muscles and cardio day. We will begin using medicine balls and yoga or individual gymnastics mats following my instruction of abdominal exercises. Next I will have students help me set up the overhead projector and play the Yoga DVD from the P90 X series. At the end of the class I will introduce tomorrow's new section of this unit and football. Day 6
Today we will go through and understand the basic rules and strategies of touch football. But to start the class we will have a 5 minute Skype conversation with a Saskatchewan Roughrider receiver. He will tell us about proper training methods, and basic fundamentals for a professional football player. Various and selected students will ask the Roughrider a few questions. Afterwards we will go to the football field and work on some of the advice given and play a scrimmage to end the class. Day 8
Today will be a lot like day 7 but instead of offensive strategies and designs we will be focusing on the other side of the ball and that is defense. The students will again control the laptop to gain experience with the SMART Board software. After my presentation I will give a short tutorial on how to make a presentation on the football field with the background etc. The students will organize into their teams and begin to brainstorm strategies and game plans they want to create for their game on day 9. Afterwards we will go out to the football field and practice the different defensive strategies we learned and incorporate that into their game plan. Before the end of class I continue to remind the students about fitness test #2 on day 10 and to make sure that they do their necessary homework to be ready to improve and meet their goals.

Today is game plan day. Students having day 8 to work on it and will get a short period of time to finish designing their game plan on SMART Board software. Once they are done they will show me and then I will get them to download the link so I can have a copy of it to observe it in more detail after class. From there we will scrimmage the rest of the class allowing the students to use and improvise their own game plan they created as a group for their team! This is the very top of the mountain, we made it! Thank you for
