Wonders of the World The Redwood Forest The Statue Of Liberty The Roman Colosseum The Great Barrier Reef Northern lights Niagara Falls The Eiffel Tower Whoa big tree! Very big tree! I believe that the Redwood Forest deserves to be one of the seven wonders of the world. One reason the Redwood forest should be on the list is because it's an old growth forest. From research , old growth forests are very few and the Redwood forest is one of them. Another reason the Redwood Forest should be added to the list is because of its historical piece. For example, a species of redwood was named after an indian named Sequoia, who taught his people a written language. A final reason why I think the Redwood Forest deserves to be one of the seven wonders is because of the size of it. According to research, the Redwood Forest covers about 131,983 acres of land. That's a lot of forest! I think that the Great Barrier Reef should stay one of Seven Wonders of the World. The first reason the Great Barrier Reef should be on the list is because of all the plants and animals that live there. For example there are 1,500 species of fish, 6 species of turtles, 30 species of whales and dolphins, and many more types of plant and animal life! "Bonjour France" I say. I think that the Tour Eiffel or Eiffel Tower should be added to the Seven Wonders list. Some people might say it is just a big metal tower. However, I think they are wrong because it was built for a huge purpose. The Eiffel Tower was named after an engineer by the name of Gustave Eiffel, whose own company designed and built the tower for the 1898 World's Fair. The Tour Eiffel has become known to people world-wide and has become a global landmark. Rumble, rumble! Niagara Falls deserves to be on the list of Seven Wonders. I understand that most people will say it's just another waterfall. However, I disagree with this opinion, Niagara Falls is far more than just another waterfall. For example, the history of the falls goes back hundreds of years. Niagara Falls got its name from the Niagagarega people in the late seventeenth century. Another reason the Great Barrier Reef should be one of the wonders of the world is because it is protected. For example pollutants and overfishing harm the coral reef and its inhabitants. When it is protected there is less risk of overfishing and pollutants so that they won't kill of the reef or the wildlife. The final reason why it should stay on the list is because it's size. From research, the Great Barrier Reef covers about 132,973 square miles of ocean. All of the reef is made up of tiny animals. That's amazing! Another reason the falls should be on the list is because it isn't actually one waterfall, it's three! The three waterfalls are called Horseshoe Falls, American Falls, and Bridal Veil Falls. A final reason why Niagara Falls should be on the list is that the falls have been a hot-spot for daredevils. For example, at least 14 people have gone over the falls in a barrel, a cat has been down the falls in a barrel and survived, and a few daring people have even tried to cross the falls on a tightrope! Niagara falls definitely deserves to be on the list of Seven wonders! by Marissa Seelke Also, the Eiffel Tower is the tallest structure in Paris, it has even made the list of The Tallest Towers in the World List! Lastly, it is the most visited monument in France. Over 200,000,000 people have visted this metal monument since it was built in 1889. "Crash!" Do you hear that? There's a battle at the Roman Colosseum. I think that the Roman Colosseum should be on the list of Seven Wonders. "O, Say can you see!" I sing as I stand in front of Lady Liberty. I think that the Statue of Liberty deserves to be on the list of Seven Wonders. One reason the Statue of Liberty should be added to the list of Seven Wonders is because it was a gift to the United States from France. From research, Frederic Bartholdi designed and gave the statue as a gift to America. Another reason the statue should be added to the list is because of what it symbolizes. The statue symbolizes freedom for many immigrants who come to the United States. A final reason why the statue should be a wonder of the world is because
