Food for thought...
Welcome to Art with
Mrs. Pelzman!

Classroom

NO EXCUSES!
TURNED OFF AND OUT OF SIGHT.

NO EXCUSES.

IF I SEE IT OR HEAR IT I WILL TAKE IT.

1st TIME: Goes to main office and you can get it back at the end of day.

2nd TIME: Same at the 1st, but you also have a phone call home.

3rd TIME: Same as 1st time BUT your parent has to pick it up from the main office.
PHONES
10 Minute Rule

Sometimes I will not give a pass during class.

Go during lunch if you can.
You must have an agenda book.

Ask me if you can receive a pass BEFORE you fill out your agenda book.

You must write in the date, time and destination.

I will sign it.
Get a drink on your way to class.

Use your own clear plastic water bottle.

No passes for this during class time, unless you have a doctor's note.

you in the
classroom
Line up
by the
lockers
outside of
the classroom.
Mrs. Pelzman will invite you into the room.
Complete the
"Do Now" for the day on your worksheet.

You will have 2-5 minutes to complete it.

All Do Nows are due
every other
Friday.
1. Take out artwork
from your assigned drawer/cabinet.

2. Turn papers into the
hand-in drawer
for your designated period.

3. Wait for instructions from Mrs. Pelzman about our project.
Work really hard on our artwork and do our best!

Help others, ask questions, follow directions and smile!
Clean-up
Each person at your table is responsible for cleaning up at the end of class. You will either clean up individually or as a group with table jobs.

Students at tables that are not cleaned up in time for dismissal will be held back until they are clean.
Dismissal

Mrs. Pelzman dismisses you, NOT the bell.
Daily Routine
Procedures
Grades for this
class are printed every three
weeks.

It is YOUR responsibility to review your grades and turn in missing or reassessed work.
Assignments are graded as:

You are also graded based on letters:
C = Consistent
S = Sometimes
O = Often
N = Never
for assignment completion and participation.
All projects will have a due date and a deadline. These dates will often have the same date because of the short amount of time we have together.

Grading Policy
Mrs. Pelzman:

-chooses the music we will listen to and when we will listen to it.

-controls the volume.

The music is on for listening while we are creating art. Not for singing and dancing.
