Geographically the best countries for architects are: Norway, Panama, Switzerland, Brazil, Vietnam, India, Saudi Arabia, Australia (in certain areas), and China (Shanghai and Hong Kong).
The best region for the profession is the metropolitan areas specifically Lancaster, San Francisco, Sacramento, San Diego, and Atlanta.
The starting salary for an architect would be around $72,000.
Analytical Skills: Be able to understand the content of the designs and the context of the designs (purpose of location and the effects of the location).
Communication Skills: Be able to share your ideas with co-workers and clients.
Creativity: Be able to make the final product attractive and functional.
Organizational Skills: Be able keep records of the project.
Technical Skills: Be acquainted with CAD program to create plans.
Visualization Skills: Be able to see how different parts of a structure relate to each other.

Architects earn their professional degree through a 5-year Bachelor of Architecture degree program. Many earn a master’s degree in architecture, which can take 1 to 5 years in addition to the time spent earning a bachelor’s degree.
A typical bachelor’s degree program includes courses in architectural history and theory, building design with an emphasis on computer-aided design and drafting (CADD), structures, construction methods, professional practices, math, physical sciences, and liberal arts.
