AN EXAMINEE SHALL BE GIVEN A CHANCE TO REPEAT THE PNLE WITH A MAXIMUM OF THREE (3) EXAMINATIONS. SECTION 18. RATINGS All nurses whose names appear at the roster of nurses shall ipso facto BE registered as nurses AND AS MEMBERS OF THE PRC ACCREDITED PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZATION (APO) UPON THE EFFECTIVITY OF THIS ACT. SECTION 22. AUTOMATIC REGISTRATION OF NURSES ARTICLE VI - HUMAN RESOURCES FOR HEALTH (HRH), PRODUCTION, UTLIZATION AND DEVELOPMENT Section 29. NATIONAL NURSING CAREER PROGRESSION PROGRAM A. Ten percent (10%) of annual budget of the DOH as specified by the General Appropriation Act

B. Ten percent (10%) of the income of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes office and PAGCOR which shall be
released to the DOH

C. Twenty percent (20%) of the PRC income from the registration of nursing profession ARTICLE VII - PENAL AND MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS SEC. 33. Prohibitions in the Practice of Nursing.

A fine of not less than ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND PESOS (P100,000.00)
nor more than THREE HUNDRED THOUSAND PESOS (P300,000.00) or imprisonment of not less than one (1) year nor more than six (6) years, or both, upon the discretion of the court, shall be imposed UPON THE FOLLOWING CLASSIFICATION OF OFFENSES:

1) VIOLATIONS AGAINST CODE OF ETHICS AND
PUBLIC MORALS

2) VIOLATIONS AGAINST PROFESSIONAL
STANDARDS

3) VIOLATIONS AGAINST HUMAN/PATIENT’S RIGHTS

4) OTHER OFFENSES
