Transcript of Williams and Casaday Farms

Cotton
Cotton is always our biggest crop every year. We usually start planting it in may, and harvesting it at the beginning of November. It also requires us to hire more employes.
Williams and Casaday Farms
Williams and Casaday Farms is a family owned business. We specialize in row cropping, cattle, and more. Our three main crops are cotton, corn, and wheat. We started our business about 25 years ago, and we're still going strong. We farm around 3,000 acres, and all these pictures were took on our farm.
Corn
Our corn crop is usually planted in April, and we start harvesting it in August. It is the most time consuming out of all three because we have to grow, harvest, and haul our crop.
Wheat
Our wheat crops are usually planted right after we harvest the corn and cotton. It will grow throughout the winter and we usually will harvest it in June or July depending on the weather.
