The Steps on how people make beverage cans. More commonly known as soda cans.

The Soda Can
By: Leonides Benavides Harnisting It From Nature Bauxite Ore From The Ground the the Factorys The bauxite ore is then shipped to an aluminum proccesing plant. While there, the bauxite ore is melted and heated to eventually create aluminum. This can take 5-6 hours. When the aluminum is finished it comes out as "aluminum blocks". These blocks are used for seceral purposes such building cars and making foil. For the beverage cans purpose, it must be melted again. This can take 3-8 hours to melt. As soon as the aluminum blocks are done, they are poured into a machine that flattens the can for 6-10 hours. When it is finished, they end up like this. Next, the foil is shiped to a soda molding factory. While it is there, when it is there, the foil is then melted again and more aluminum is added to give it strength. This process can take 5-7 hours. When finished, the foil is put into a mold, and is pressed for 24 hours. The bottom part of the can is also formed at this time. When finished the top of the can is stamped to make the little slit on the top of the can. Then the workers press on a little aluminum button onto the top of the can. When that is finished, they take a tab. (Which they made while the can was molding.) and press it onto the button. After wards the surface is smooth. Thus, requring no further polishing. The can is then cleaned and sent to multiple soda processing plants. When finished, the can is then sent to a beverage manufactoring plant to later be filled up with a certain kind of beverage. Such as beer, soda, or juice. When the can is filled with soda the cans are sent across the world for everyone to enjoy. When the cans are finished, most people send it to recycling plants. These recycling plants crush the cans, and send them to the factories the made the cans. The cans are then melted, flattned, molded, and cleaned to be used again. Some people however, don't throw it away. Instead, they use them as pieces of art, or they crush the cans and take them personally to the recycling plant to earn some money A lot cheaper than just throwing it in the garbage huh? The majority of the human population use soda cans for multiple reasons. The main reason though is for a simple drink. The majority of the Western population. (France, Germany, Britian, Canada, and the U.S.) drink from thse cans frequently. This makes the soda can one of the greatest provider-consumer relationships The soda can is a can that is used to carry liquids. It is favored because it is cheaper than glass, and very durable. It is also renewable. Once the bauxite ore is obtained, it is then cleaned and grinded into little powder-like particles. Step One: Obtaing the ore Aluminum is made up of...
